This policy applies to all information collected through our website (jobifycoach.com), our client service engagement, and any related communications. By using our services or website, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms & Conditions and forms part of the agreement between you and JobifyCoach.
Information We Collect
We collect information that is necessary to provide our services, operate our website, and fulfil our legal obligations. This includes:
Information you provide directly
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number, and country of residence.
- Professional information: resume, LinkedIn profile URL, career history, job titles, target roles, and skills.
- Purchase information: billing name, address, and payment data (processed exclusively by Payoneer; we do not store card or bank details).
- Service materials: Career Inventory Form responses, intake documents, job descriptions, and any other materials you submit during the engagement.
- LinkedIn credentials: provided voluntarily by clients who elect the LinkedIn profile editing service. Credentials are used solely for that purpose and are permanently deleted within 48 hours of edit completion.
- Communications: emails, messages, and enquiries you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referral URL, and device identifiers.
- Usage data: pages visited, time spent, links clicked, and navigation patterns within our website.
- Cookie data: preferences, session identifiers, and analytics data as described in our Cookie Policy.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Service delivery: to provide, manage, and personalise the career coaching services you have purchased, including creating your resume, LinkedIn profile, job application materials, and coaching sessions.
- Communication: to send service updates, delivery notifications, scheduling confirmations, and responses to your enquiries.
- Payment processing: to initiate and manage payments through Payoneer and send payment-related communications.
- Legal compliance: to meet our obligations under applicable law, respond to legal process, enforce our Terms, and protect the rights and safety of our clients and personnel.
- Website improvement: to analyse usage patterns, troubleshoot technical issues, and improve the functionality and user experience of our website.
- Service records: to maintain records of the engagement, including deliverables, communications, and session notes, for the duration of the engagement and any applicable retention period.
We do not use your personal information for unsolicited marketing or sell it to third parties for advertising purposes.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law.
- Service materials and deliverables are retained for the duration of the engagement and up to two (2) years after termination, consistent with our confidentiality obligations.
- Communication records (emails, messages, session notes) are retained for a period of two (2) years from the end of the engagement.
- Payment records are retained for seven (7) years for tax and accounting compliance purposes.
- LinkedIn credentials, if provided for the profile editing service, are permanently deleted within 48 hours of edit completion.
- Website analytics data is retained in aggregate, anonymised form and does not identify individual users.
Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, personal data is securely deleted or anonymised.
Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encrypted file storage, access controls, and secure communication channels.
However, no method of data transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted over the internet. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for notifying us immediately of any suspected unauthorised access.
Payment Security: All legitimate payment security communications from JobifyCoach are sent exclusively from support@jobifycoach.com. We will never ask for your payment credentials via email or chat. If you receive a suspicious message, do not respond. Contact us directly.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information:
- Right of access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
